During the Imperial Era, she hired Asajj Ventress, the former lead assassin of Count Dooku, to kick out uncompliant customers from her transport office. Their cooperation ended abruptly when Ventress stood up for Lyco Strata, a young Jedi escaping the Great Jedi Purge whom Cort had given away to a stormtrooper patrol in hopes of earning a substantial reward.
